Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 2:30 PM.
Board members present were Bill Thompson, Richard Webb, Jim Ghrist, Jim Stewardson, Jay Gaskin, and Terry Bailey.
Approval of Minutes
Minutes from the August 3, 2018 Board meeting were approved.
Old Business
Treasure’s Report:
Richard Webb presented the treasures report update.
Social Chairman’s Report
Jay Gaskin reported that the Christmas party is scheduled for December 4that the Hyatt.
Golf Chairman’s Report:
Jim Ghrist arranged with the pro shop to have 4 tee times at Links O’Tryon for Oct 22 since both Pebble Creek courses will be closed for a large tournament.
A motion was made and seconded to eliminate the awarding of physical trophies for our tournaments. The motion passed.
The special Veterans Day game is scheduled for November 12thto honor our Golden Boys who have served in the military and especially our four oldest veteran Golden Boys Chuck Hite, John Mickler, Don March and Dick Davis who will participate in a ceremonial tee shot to kick off the day.
