New Business:
Rule changes were discussed and approved by the Board as follows:
►Only members who have played a minimum of 10 of regularly scheduled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday games in the current calendar year are eligible to play in the interclub events. Due to the April deadline for compiling the interclub rosters, it is important to play often during January, February, and March. Members who have not played 10 times in the current year may sign up as alternates on interclub tournament player rosters posted on Golden Boys bulletin board. Golden Boys who play regularly and have been sidelined with an injury or illness, or reside outside the area during most or all the first three months of the year, will be granted a waiver to the 10-game requirement. If an interclub event does not exceed quota, all Golden Boys are eligible to sign up for these tournaments. This rule also applies to all special tournaments including Championship, Match Play, President’s Cup and Ryder Cup.  Merv Moeller with the help of Conde Sargent, will track player participation.
Beginning in December, the second Wednesday of each month will be flight event with the goal of grouping players with similar handicaps in the same flight.  Captains will have the option to schedule either two man or four man competitions.
Winter rules are in effect meaning a ball at rest in the fairway of the hole being played may be moved one club length but not nearer to the hole.  Once the condition of the course improves, the ball will be played as it lies in the fairways based on the Golf Chairman’s discretion.
Adjournment:
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
