Meeting called to order at 2:15.  Alderman, Clee, Gaskin and Moeller attending

Treasurer’s Report:

Updated budget was reviewed.  Tom Moeller reported that we are on target with the budget and there should be $1800 available to supplement our annual Christmas party.  Budget was approved as submitted.

Golf Chairman Report:
Jay Gaskin reported that two interclub tournaments remain, Green Valley and Greenville CC.  Match Play tournament scheduled to start October 16.

Dine Around Report:
In Mike Toskey’s absence it was reported that dine around will be on Tuesday, October 22, at Rick Erwins West End Grille.

Social Chairman:
Larry Clee reported that we have several new members, Danny Epps and Terry Bailey.

New Business:
·        It was decided that the Golden Boys will go to 10:00am shotgun start on Monday, October 14.
·        A list of potential candidates for the 2014 Board was compiled.  Wendell will contact the listed members and report back to the Board
·        Club management has indicated that some Golden Boys are not following procedure for returning carts at the end of play.  The concern is that this opens the door for unauthorized people to take the cart without paying.  We are asked to please follow the procedure for returning carts.
·        The Herm George Outstanding Service Award was discussed.  Further discussions will be held at next Board meeting
